Teque Teque Bistro Café -
Just walk on Saint Laurent Street, near Jean-Talon market, and you will find one of the best cafés serving Venezuelan specialties; Teque Teque Bistrot Café. We spent there the whole morning, with the soft light of the sun coming from the large windows of the coffee shop, so delightful.
Their colorful menu offers Arabica coffees and typical Venezualan drinks like Papelon and Cocada. We had a cup of coffee and some Arepitas for breakfast – small corn flour fritters. Many choices of Tequeño, a sort of finger cheese wrapped in some fried dough, and Empanadas, stuffed pastries with meat or vegetables. They are just delicious! Handmade Venezuelan food tastes so good!
The service is very nice there, you can really feel the warm and cheerful atmosphere from Latin America.
Extra bonus: it is pet-friendly :) So your pet companion won't have to wait alone in the cold weather!
Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are available. Free wifi and phone chargers provided.
Do not miss the opportunity to try this place yourself: Colombian coffee is for free till Spring for new customers! Bienvenido!
