Who said you had to go all the way to France to find Le Petit Trianon? Closer than you think, there is a small coffee shop with the charm of the French chateau, and croissants to die for. First time I went in, I saw two girls having tea. It felt like I was getting into a dolls house and was just in time for my tea party. Tea time is important, this is why this coffee shop serves quality tea like Nina’s Paris. If you are more on the coffee side, you can enjoy the delicious beans of local roaster Kittel. Something le Petit Trianon is well known for is its assortment of mouthwatering and creative pastries, after all, not every day you come across a peanut butter cream crocake with caramelized popcorn topping. Almond croissants, blueberry scones, lemon pies, just to name a few are freshly made, tasty and full of surprises. If you are lucky enough, during the weekends you can find its kimchi croissant or better yet its maple braised bacon croissant. I'm telling you, the pastries scene at Le petit Trianon has everyone over the moon. Historians say Marie Antoinette would go to the Petit Trianon to escape from the court life and forget about her royal responsibilities. Well, you might not be a royal yet but now you know there is a Petit Trianon close by waiting for you to do the same.
